Most of the frustration with collision repair isn't the wait — it's not knowing why you're waiting. We update you when we open the claim, when parts ship, when parts arrive, when we start, and when there's a real ETA.

And if you have an aftermarket warranty (extended service contract, mechanical breakdown coverage), we'll file the claim with that company too — same standard of communication.

I just hit something. What do I do first?

Make sure everyone is safe and out of traffic, then call us. We'll talk you through whether to file a police report (often yes), what to take pictures of, and how to handle the other driver's insurance if there is one. Then we'll either send a tow or schedule a time for you to drop the car off.

Do I have to use the shop my insurance suggests?

No. In New York, you have the right to choose your own repair shop. Your insurer may suggest one of their direct-repair facilities, but it's your choice — and we'll handle the same paperwork on your behalf.

What if the adjuster's first estimate is too low?

That's normal — initial estimates are written off the visible damage, not what we find after disassembly. When something more is uncovered, we file a supplement with the insurer. You generally don't pay the difference; the supplement is between us and the carrier.

Can you handle aftermarket warranty claims?

Yes. Extended service contracts, mechanical breakdown coverage, and similar aftermarket warranties — we'll file the claim and work directly with the warranty company.

How does the rental get coordinated?

If your policy includes rental coverage, we work with your insurer and a rental partner to line up a car. We'll tell you what's actually covered so there's no surprise on the back end.
